EXPERIENCE
I am honored that I have the pleasure to serve as your child’s educator this school year! Serving as an educator at my former elementary school is certainly a privilege. At the completion of this school year, I will have 18 years of teaching experience at Jonesboro Elementary School!!!
I became an educator to help students grasp educational concepts that will prepare them for their future careers. I find pleasure in witnessing the students' insightful questions, comments, silly habits, memorable moments, and unforgettable stories. Most of all, lifelong memories are created and cherished forever! Education rocks!
EDUCATION
For undergrad, I attended Miles College on a full athletic scholarship, earned my Bachelor of Science Degree in Early Childhood Elementary Education, and pledged Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. In 2011, I earned my Master of Education Degree from Alabama State University. At The University of Montevallo, I earned my Education Specialist Degree in Teacher Leadership in 2014.
ABOUT ME
When I am not teaching, I find pleasure in spending time with my daughter, parents, fur baby, and family. Shopping, playing softball, listening to music, going out to eat, and traveling are some of my favorite hobbies. On rainy days, I love to relax in cozy pajamas with dainty socks, watch movies on Netflix, and enjoy some of my favorite snacks.
