Students and teachers will celebrate Read Across America during the week of March 4th - 8th. 

On Monday, the week of celebrations will begin with a visit from an author and special activities by grade level.

Tuesday:  Students and Teachers will continue to read all week and keep track of their books on a reading log.  There will be rewards at the end of the week. Teachers will decorate their doors with a book theme.

Wednesday:  Students and Teachers will celebrate "Fox in Socks" by wearing their favorite pair of colored socks.

Thursday:  Students may dress to represent the careers of their choice to celebrate the book, "Oh, the Places You'll Go!"  Students may wear hats of their choosing to celebrate the book, "Cat in the Hat". Teachers will dress as their favorite book character. 

Friday: Parental Involvement and Community Stakeholder's Literacy Collaboration will be held with parents and appproved guests reading Dr. Seuss books to classes.  The winners of the best decorated doors will be announced.
